Muttis eTarif is a travel and navigation app developed by Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr AöR. It is designed to make your public transportation experience easier and more convenient. With the app, you can start your bus and train journey spontaneously and pay directly with your smartphone. Simply check-in and check-out, and only pay for the distance traveled: whether it's in your city, region, or throughout NRW.
One of the key features of Muttis eTarif is the "Kostenairbag" or cost airbag, which ensures that your journey with the eTarif eezy will never be more expensive than a regular adult single ticket for the same distance in the VRR area.
If you prefer using "traditional" tickets, the Ticketshop offers a wide range of VRR and NRW tickets, including the new FlexTicket. With the FlexTicket, you have access to discounted single tickets and bicycle tickets, with a monthly base fee. When it comes to payment, you can conveniently use your credit card, direct debit, or PayPal for both "traditional" and eTarif eezy tickets.
In addition to these features, Muttis eTarif also provides several other useful functions such as journey planning with favorite storage, departure monitor, travel alarm, information center, and maps.
